We'll talk about these coaches.

Let's go Bill Snyder.

Oh, yes.

Coached at K-State from 1989 to 2005.

Then he comes back come out of retirement 2009 to 2018 to help rebuild K-State, what he already had built up.

Yeah, I think by the time he got back, it was Bill Snyder Stadium he was playing at.

And, yeah, I was able to do well, bring him back into contention.

Yeah, that's a great example.

And then A&M happened in the Big 12 title game.

And Bill Snyder said it was like losing a member of the family after that loss.

But, yeah, I mean, Nebraska fans were treated very horribly there.

in 98, and then, yeah, you wanted to remind K-State who K-State was, and that was a great game.

And I remember like the announcer, they would always say the score you wanted to hear second.

So it would be like in Happy Valley, Penn State 15-15, Minnesota 16, you know, and then you'd hear this roar.

Um, so I, I remember that, uh, 99 and also Bo got his revenge on Bill Snyder.

I guess if you want to bring K state, uh, like 2010, um, when they smacked him around on Thursday night after Oh three.

[laughs] If it, if it gets out of hand against Georgia, I'll allow it, but just...

My all-time favorite sideline interviewer or, uh, sideline reporter, I think it was Jack Arute interviewing Bill Snyder, who's coming off the field after they just r- won, and some fan runs by him and is going crazy.

And Bill Snyder's like, "Uh, uh, ca- calm down, calm down.

Settle down, man.

It's gonna be okay."

And I think they, back to the coaching, I think they do have more talent, but they're also focusing on how to use that talent.

And that's another thing that I think he took away from Bill Snyder.

If you got someone that can make plays, you put them in a position to make that play.

Like a punt returner, you know? What can you do with this guy? We're going to put him at punt return.

But also, he came here with purpose, right? He attached his career to Colin Klein's wagon or whatever you want to say.

Those moves are what decide where you're going.

But Bob Stoops, Mike Stoops, Mark Mangino, Dana Dimmel, Jim Levitt, and whomever else have been a head coach, if they hadn't worked for Bill Snyder, possibly.

But they did, and they did.

Behind the times.

This was, you know, Colin Klein played for Bill Snyder.

Bill Snyder's teams were built on explosive plays on offense.

Darren Sproles is a good example of that.

So it was fun seeing Kansas State getting their identity back a little bit.

There is a debate in college football, and that's the path that Nebraska has taken.

People don't like it because they have not played the toughest of competition, but that's kind of the Bill Snyder route to building the program.

Again, it's not the most entertaining.

It's the Indiana
