Let's talk about Lamar's injury.

Lamar Jackson.

More like a little mayor,

right? A mayor,

yeah.

tore his thumb to the tendon in his thumb.

He, in the, in the first play of the game, lost everybody who, you know, started a Lamar Jackson or roster to Lamar Jackson lost everybody this, this past week.

absolutely horrific for dynasty managers this guy cannot just stay healthy unfortunately it's it's brutal so i have been seeing a ton a ton of people on you know the socials just down on lamar you know this guy's you know injury prone sell him the the trades i've seen are pretty interesting to say the least they're mostly deals that i wouldn't make at least So are you concerned about Lamar Jackson, Jake? I mean, he has been injured basically the past two years, right? He hasn't really been usable to a roster.

Yeah, chop him up, throw him into the IR spot, never use him again, baby.

Yeah, no, I'm not concerned.

I think that these types of conversations happen way too frequently.

If there was proper injury trends, issues here then i would have i think a stronger stance on being concerned about lamar but The fact that we're talking about a bunch of kind of random injuries that happen to supplement a narrative of recurring injuries just doesn't make sense to me.

So yeah, I'm not overwhelmingly concerned about Lamar.

I've bought in.

I've actually bought two Lamar shares since Sunday while I've been shooting my brains out.

I guess I didn't actually tell the audience what has been happening.

So that probably sounds in retrospect That probably sounded really random.

But yeah, I think I'm trying to show that.

And I'm willing to also pay relatively top dollar.

I think I offered a mid-first, a late-first, and Brian Thomas Jr. or something like that for Lamar.

And I think that's going way over what market currently is asking for Lamar.

And you'll see, actually, I got a trade done in a new league that I took on the orphan for.

And man, I feel like I got him pretty cheap, truth be told.

But anyway, we'll we'll see.

Yeah, I mean, that's why I wanted to have this conversation, because clearly people are playing their flag one way or another.
