uh sure let's uh let's let's do that indeed um so Obsession uh director Curry Barker uh starring Michael Johnson uh Johnston sorry and Indy Navarrete who in my opinion has probably just given the best female performance I will see all year um
Yep, I can't argue with that.
I mean, fucking breathtaking performance in this movie.
This is a film that honestly, I felt deeply uncomfortable from the beginning to the very end.
Like the very opening of the fucking movie made me uncomfortable when he's like pretending, you know, he's like acting out what he's going to say to this girl, to his friends.
So cringy and uncomfortable.
It's even
worse than that because it's not even, it's the waitress.
That's right, it's The Waitress, yeah.
And it just gets worse and worse.
The whole movie is just anxiety-inducing and awful in the best possible ways, in my opinion.
Yes.
Yeah.
So what we have here is a character called, well, he's affectionately known as Bear, who is desperate to, well, he's desperate to gain the love of this girl, Nikki, I think her name is, that he is somewhat obsessed with, I guess.
You know, he's deeply in love with her, but he lacks the courage to tell her.
She actually, I think, heavily implies that she does actually like him.
At least a little bit.
There's a chance, maybe not fully, but there's a chance that it could slowly move towards something.
I mean, only slightly getting ahead, but...
No, no, go for it.
When they're in the car and he drops her
off...
Yes, that was exactly what I was thinking.
She gives him the opportunity.
She tells, she asks him and he fucking bottles it.
