A dark adaptation of the 17th century ballad Robin Hood's Death, the film is written and directed by Michael Sonoski and stars Hugh Jackman, Jodie Comer, Bill Skarsgård, Murray Bartlett and Noah Jupe.

Because if they say this is a Robin Hood film, not one that is history, the uprising we'll get into in future.

I think, yeah, there are lots of conversations and I like the way that they, I like Jodie Comer and like sister Bridget, because I think it's, In the ballad, and I did a Q&A with Michael Sonoski, and he said, like, in the ballad, there's a bit about, like, a woman who, like, is represented pejoratively.

Like, she lets his blood with, you know, this bloodletting thing, and she kind of killed him.

But the other thing was that when the show went on as a play, this is before it became a film.

So when it went on as a play, like it went straight to the western with Jodie Comer playing the main role.

And we've got a young white woman who is very attractive to the audience in terms of her persona and who she is.

And it's dealing with class and it's dealing with gender.

The, the accents, uh, are a problem, I think, and obviously that's less of a problem if your, if your ear isn't particularly attuned to them.

But I, it really, there are elements of it that have really stayed with me, and it is true that the minute you get onto the island and Jodie Comer arrives, it becomes a different film, and that is exactly what-

Everybody who goes there is a winner.

Jodie Comer was a winner that year.

And you pay it forward where only previous winners can present future awards.

But there is this idea that if you win, you're supposed to do that at some point in your life.

Oh, my

God.

Jodie Comer is brilliant.

And, yeah, the kid is good.

was running in the UK two years ago I want to say with Jodie Comer and then moved to Broadway because it was so successful that it moved to America as well and it's a one woman show and it's uh i'm really curious to see how they're gonna bring it because i saw already cynthia revo playing many characters in the play adaptation of dracula where she played every single character of the dracula play and it was fantastic so i think she has the scope to just command the screen on her own

i knew nothing about this that's impressive Yeah.

The Dracula play, it was brilliant and it was done in a modern way.

okay so it's just it's a really good production and it's a really one woman show she plays every single character from Dracula to the I feel like she has

that range of she does she

really does and I think in this one as well she's gonna be great although Jodie Comer did a fantastic job in the play, and that's why it was critically acclaimed.

So it's going to be interesting to see Cynthia doing this, but I have all the good hopes that this is going to be good.
