The Furious

Obsession got a four and a half stars.

That one it's creating a, entire actor actress coming into the superhero realm with Indy Navarrete who's going to be rogue we've talked about that in length but it's her breakout role and so much so much incredible things came from that horror movie the next one is it's like a it's a it's a foreign martial arts film called the furious four and a half stars the furious and It stars Joe Taslim, who is known for playing Sub-Zero in Mortal Kombat 2.

And it's the choreography of the people who did the movies The Raid and The Raid 2.

And so you get a lot of...

There are flashbacks on top of flashbacks, pages of stilted dialogue in one belabored exposition scene after another, and woefully stiff fight sequences that never leave much of a mark.

While a movie like this doesn't need to be as thrilling and kinetic as the recent action stunner The Furious, it's still tough going when it can't actually land a believable punch.

More closely resembling the works of Neil Breen, the ultra-low-budget filmmaker known for Double Down, Fateful Findings, and Twisted Pair, but with some more money to throw at things, it's occasionally unintentionally funny, though mostly a drag.

There's nothing much new here.

If you have the 4K in your collection like I do, you already have this.

But I wanted to really fall head over heels for it like I did with Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

And I did with Chippendale.

This one... don't know this one felt really dry for a cartoon movie for a looney tunes movie um that's neither here nor there everybody's loving it and i'm glad other people like it my family liked it and i liked it i just wanted to love it one of those deals a movie that i did love a movie that i had a really fun time with we got the furious baby from lionsgate limited on glorious 4k look at that slip cover yes sir This is a movie I had very high hopes for as well.

Because I heard the action is amazing.

Oh, I gotta watch it.

Dead Man's Wife, The Furious, obviously.

Sheep Detective, I heard, was better than at least I was expecting it to be.

Wow, there's 68 movies this year.

Um, and but, you know, it's, they don't make them anymore.

Like, we were, we were talking recently, like, The Furious and a couple other, like, you know, the big action movies to come out.

But, like, they're all, even Universal Soldier, you know, Regeneration, Day of Reckoning, really solid action movies, but they don't make movies on this scale routinely anymore.
