X-Men

But also

what I'm also looking forward to is Indy is going to be the character of Rogue in the new X-Men movie.

Yes.

I'm also curious.

Okay.

Unconfirmed X-Men rumors that are so good we just have to talk about them.

And a little box office news before we end with our In Memoriam, because we had a couple of really big losses this week.

First up, big trailers, the first being the Dune final trailer, which...

Me too.

It's a fun casting.

They report that Peter Claffey is in as Beast in the Marvel's X-Men post-Secret Wars launch now.

He would replace Charles Melton, who apparently dropped out of the X-Men running.

I think he only just retired a few months ago.

Obviously, we're bringing him up because of the incredible work he's done on X-Men.

And then, of course, he was in the MCU as well.

I mean, and Star Trek and Picard, like,

yeah,

really tragic.

It's interesting because Xavier has died in, like, every other appearance throughout the X-Men films.

Like, he's always dying.

And this means he's likely whatever they had in store for him if he was going to show up in Secret Wars, probably not going to happen now.

No, I think we don't know for sure, but I'm willing to bet a lot of Monopoly money All of the Fox X-Men kind of, you know, they go the way of Thanos

in this

movie.

Maybe not Gambit.

I feel like Gambit might survive for some reason, but the rest of them are gone.

I saw the goofiest rumor that they're going to recast Gambit as post-Secret Wars for the new X-Men movie.

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

I do like Michael Fassbender.

It's a bit like in X-Men when he speaks to those German pig farmers.

That's the best scene.

That's such a good scene in that movie, man.

the

guy.

X-Men.

X-Men Origins.

And then we're still going to have Agatha come in and start manipulating her with the dark hold.

And she's going to, the biggest difference is instead of Pietro just being a random dude, Agatha is actually going to bring in the Pietro from the X-Men universe from another reality and in order to try to destabilize her emotionally.

I think actually using him would be a perfect way to kick off the multiverse saga by bringing in the Quicksilver that people love from the multiverse.

Instead of making him a boner joke.

Which, again, is perfectly set up by...

We have WandaVision.

And we're literally bringing in a mutant from the X-Men saga for the multiverse saga.

So...

I think it was even the lead-in for Monday Night Raw when they were on TNN.

But obviously another role of his that, for me at least, is even more iconic, Professor X in X-Men.

Yeah.

I'm looking forward to seeing him play Charles Xavier one more time in Avengers Doomsday.

I'm glad that we got him in new X-Men and Marvel content.

It's such a shame to lose an actor like that.

He did numerous voice acting roles as well.

It started with a clip from Excalibur from 1981, and then it went to the 1984 Dune movie, followed by the opening of Next Generation.

And then, of course, Robin Hood, Men in Tights, Animal Farm from 1999, his appearance on Extras with Ricky Gervais, the 2010 Macbeth movie, X-Men Days of Future Past, and then Picard, the final episode of Season 3 of Picard.

And then...

The music that I played was The Inner Light.

I got another DCBS shipment yesterday.

and a few other purchases, and there were some addendums, and of course I could always do Feedback Friday, but it is after, as I said, this episode's going to drop after midnight, so I think we're just going to leave it here.

We're just going to leave it here, and hey, why don't you just email me, tell me your favorite Patrick Stewart episode, outside of Star Trek and X-Men.

There's just so much.

So Indy Navarette, star of Obsession, and she's getting a lot of attention and praise for her roles in that movie.

Also for the anticipation of her role as Rogue in the X-Men movies.

Did you see that she did like a little Southern accent? So she confirmed that she's going to do Southern Rogue.

That's what you wanted.

this is gnarly bro that is crazy

usually marvel doesn't do i mean they do like the the the midnights uh what is it marvel nights and they do have like you know dark stuff i just feel like they never really go dark though

this is this is dark bro yeah this new midnight is dark bro The first, it's X-Men, Spider-Man, and Fantastic Four.
