James & Tim link up at Punchboard Paradise Con and talk all about some of their favorite plays of the weekend. The Old Prince, Wiz War, Rocky Ventures, UR 1830, Aquadukt, Liberty or Death, Infamous…
Because in addition to the con weekend here that I joined you for, you've been in Omaha for a couple more days, so you got a lot to talk about on Two Off the Top.
You're right, disc golf and, and stuff.
Um, so PP Con, again, awesome.
Um, we are in the second level of it right now in the chapel [laughs] recording Dome in Church for the first time ever.
Uh, I just said when we came in we sh- ooh, I should have done my Blood on the Clocktower game in here.
There's like a altar and, like, nice, like, window with a...
Yeah.
Could've, could've been epic in here.
But it was epic anyway.
Um, anyway, um, some notables kinda from the, from the weekend that might not get deep dive love from us.
We were in and out with I think a dozen entrants, maybe 14, uh, in 90 minutes.
S- I mean, uh, you can't beat that.
We played kind of a tournament scoring where it's just whoever scores most in the previous, in the round gets some points, and then the top four performers after six qualifying match-ups made a playoff, played, and we won.
Or we won.
I didn't win.
I lo- [laughs] I actually lost.
I, uh, made it to the championship.
Uh, but it was so clean, so thanks to Joe for running that.
There was a, a Skull King tournament, which is kind of a PP Con tradition that, uh, neither Tim or I played in.
No.
Usually this is my first time not playing.
