Our circle of friends has been riding the rails, digging out of ditches, and pinging off of posts, scoring plenty of 20s, and hitting hard with the hammer in Crokinole.

But before we diddle for the middle, let's get into a quick game description.

Crokinole is a two to four player dexterity game where opponents flick wooden discs across a circular board comprised of three concentric circles with a hole at the center.

Eight bumper posts exist along the edges of the inner ring and the outer ring is split into four quadrants defining the shooting area.

Players alternate turns flicking a disc positioned along the outer edge of their shooting area.

Alternatively, score may be kept by calculating the difference between the two point totals, with the player with the higher total receiving that difference in points.
