Hey, it's Lainey, and today I'll be talking about Seresco, Nebraska.

To get to Seresco from Omaha, you drive west on I-80 toward Lincoln, take the exit for US 6 West toward Ashland, turn on to County Road A, and then turn on to US 77.

In 1886, Soresco's residents wanted access to the railroad so badly that they literally moved the entire town to meet it.

Then, in 1895, a saloon fire wiped out the entire business district.

When I was 18, I started a summer job as a custodian at a museum.

If any listeners are from Nebraska, it was the Strategic Air and Space Museum in Ashland, Nebraska.
