**Episode 338 - Current Gen Podcast** Jeff, Tim, and Kyle talk all about the 2 biggest games of the past week: Marvel’s Wolverine and Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave. Both games bring some good stuff to…
Kyle, I wanted to let you know that I finally rolled credits for on the blood of don walker which i'm finally calling the right name i'm no longer i'm saying dawn of blood walker you know i almost corrected you on that too
and i was like don't do that he probably knows better
the blood of don walker blood of i'm gonna keep saying that blood of don walker so yeah i finished it and um there's multiple endings for this this is not a huge spoiler you can kind of see this Really, anyone that talks about the game, there's multiple endings.
I will tell you that even though they have classifications, generally speaking, of bad versus good, for the most part, all of them have a bittersweetness to them.
All of them have an element that's like, I kind of liked that, and an element of, man, that's still heartbreaking.
There's definitely that.
um but what i do like is that even with the time limitation and all that stuff i really found myself looking around the map like what else can i do and i still had five days left and i was like is there anything else that i really really want to do and i think there was maybe a handful of you know wrapping up a couple of quests that i just didn't i wasn't interested in for that ending i didn't need for that ending so i have that save and i could always jump back in and and finish a quest line for it A different ending.
But I got, I think, four of them.
Four of the ones I was really interested in.
All great.
I got to tell you, man, the writing in this game is phenomenal.
I just love the character dialogue.
It feels like real conversations.
It's not just character shows up and says, I'd like to learn this magic.
And other character says, let me teach you this magic.
And then the scene is over.
They talk a lot about...
the context and the risks and their experiences and their connection.
Like I just, they, and so for some people I realize the skippers out there, they're going to just jump past it.
I think you're missing.
I often wonder why skippers play games
like this, you know? Right.
Yeah.
I know it's going to be a dialogue-heavy game that's about choice.
You know, we play it and just skip all the dialogue.
