Even the ones that you can't find my name credited to having worked for them, like let's say in Archie Comics.
oh yeah i i did i almost worked for them for a little bit you can't find any evidence of it other than if you go on my computer you can find pitches and you can find scripts and you can find things that i wrote but you wouldn't know so any working writer is constantly pitching and getting their stuff out there for every company imaginable because really in order to make money as a writer you have to be consistently working on at least three to four books a month in order to have a steady enough income to pay your bills.
It's when all of a sudden you become in demand that you can be getting multiple gigs at once.
But to hustle to get multiple gigs at once at any given time means you're just constantly hustling.
So today, I'm gonna talk specifically about comic books and about my journey into the industry.
I have studied comic books for my whole life because my father was a really big fan.
I actually have like, I wrote out my comic book milestones a while back and I still had it.
A flash forward just a little bit later in February, I got a subscription to Spider-Man.
It was Mark Boggley and I want to say his name was David Michelin or somebody, but this was when they introduced Carnage.
