Ben Grimm is one of the things that makes the Four likable to me.

Tony has fire and loud sonic noises, which are Venom's two weaknesses.

I don't believe there is a universe where Venom comes out on top unless Tony is using a very primitive armor or he gets caught off guard.

No, I 100% agree because the thing about Venom is you have to figure out his weakness and who better to figure out his weakness than an absolute genius? And that is what Tony is.

one of the best is when Ben Grimm goes to find Doom and like,

okay, you're gone.

Yeah.

uh this minifigure i don't even know which battalion of clones it is in particular but it's a phase one clone trooper from the clone war sets and it just has these green accents the reason i chose it is because this was my favorite minifigure when i was a kid i'm thinking this is like a 2010 through 12 minifigure somewhere in one of those years and i just loved the color scheme i loved how clean it was back in the day and as a kid it was just my favorite minifig for some reason so i thought i'd bring it out uh the second time or the rare times we talk about star wars

yeah all right well i'm gonna say it's clobbering time we have the thing right here one of my favorite characters from the new lego doomsday wave i had to steal him before obi got him again but i definitely think this is so much better and it works so much better than the fantastic four first steps i'm trying to get them in camera I don't know.

I think it's just because he's fully orange and fully rocky.

You have the vehicle fusion where you're combining, say, this example is like an Empire helicarrier type of thing.

And then you also have the scene fusion where you're combining an actual, most likely a diorama scene.

from one of the things my overall thoughts on this collab is like you said growing up huge diehard Star Wars fan and then obviously also a huge Marvel fan I don't care for this collab at all I don't know if that's a hot take but when this was like announced I didn't even make a video on it because it just didn't even excite me.

Like you think as a huge Star Wars fan and a huge Marvel fan, I would have jumped on this and be like, guys, check this out.

So it's like they did with the thing, right? I don't mean Ben Grimm thing.

I mean the thing at the North Pole in the movie.

No, this is cool.

And I think that just really ruined things for me.

Because like you said, it is an interesting concept to have someone like Johnny have to learn and understand how Ben Grimm uses his powers.

But I feel like the execution just wasn't there to make the story compelling enough or consistently compelling enough to be like, okay, well, I enjoy this.

So If I could go back and change what they did, I would have actually made the Mole Man the first villain for them in the first movie and then use Dr. Doom for the second movie.

I'm trying to remember because I did watch this recently, but this movie sometimes is so forgettable at some points because of how weirdly some things drag.

Alicia Masters was in this movie, correct? Right.

So one of the things that I hated that they kind of like hand waved over a little bit in the first movie was how Alicia and Ben have that connection.

They kind of touched on a little bit by having her like not care that he was made out of just rock.
