with the Scabs, you know, same thing with Dee Snider.

Dee Snider was even worse.

Dee Snider's like, you know, first he's like, oh, when he was doing the farewell tour, he was like saying shit like, I hate bands that do farewell tours and they come back.

And now what he says is, I hate farewell tours that come back with only one original member.

Now, I remember...

Arguing for the music side were a bunch of guys who you would never have pictured being in the same room together, but there they were.

Frank Zappa, soft rock crooner John Denver, and Dee Snider of Twisted Sister, who had a song make the Filthy 15 list.

Frank Zappa said, quote, End quote.

He also said that he thought that the whole thing was probably a way to get a bill that the record labels wanted at the time, H.R. 2911, known as the blank tape tax bill, to get through Congress quickly.

Dee Snider said that his music had been misinterpreted.

For instance, the group song Under the Blade was actually about one of the bandmates' surgery and wasn't about any nefarious acts, as Tipper Gore asserted.

As Dee Snider put it, quote, "...the only bad things in this song is in the mind of Ms. Gore.

Ms. Gore was looking for those bad things and she found them." Someone looking for surgical references would have found it as well.

That's right.

No Dee Snider, no Mark the Animal Mendoza, but Eddie Ojeda, JJ French have put Twisted Sister back together on the road doing a ton of dates.

And we're going to be talking to none other than guitarist, founding member, JJ French.

On this show, it's been over six years since we've talked to JJ.

It's going to be great to talk to him about why Sebastian Bach, how'd this come to be? Why is Dee Snider not fronting Twisted Sister? Well, Dee Snider wanted to put this back together.

The band keeps getting huge offers all over the world to play.

And Dee Snider called J.J. French and said, hey, we might have played our last show 10 years ago, but let's do it.

We're getting these offers.

yeah.

Dee Snider's not there? Then that's not Twisted Sister.

That's Sebastian Bach.

That's Skid Row.

Bach is the adopted stage name.

Sebastian actually the last couple of weeks has been filling in for Dee Snider with Twisted Sister with some selected shows because Dee Snider can't do it right now or any longer.

And so it was Sebastian Bach who was tabbed as the replacement and Zach Burke, his younger brother.

Yeah, I mean, that's where the parade is headed for a lot of these bands.

I mean, you know, you're watching, I'm watching in real time as bands are canceling their tours, you know, Twisted Sisters, Dee Snider's staying home.

Tom Kiefer's staying home.

Bret Michaels is staying home.

I want to rock.

And like all of a sudden Dee Snider in Twisted Sister shows up with the big hair and that glam rock look and it was so cheesy.

I actually watched the video later and I'm like, this is so dumb.

But that's an interesting question, isn't it? We talk about the changes we go through in life.
