Well, today we're going to talk about Your conversion story and some things related to that.

Most of my audience are people that are considering Catholicism or in the early stages of converting.

So you're the kind of person I think is awesome to talk to because when people are coming into the Catholic faith that are coming out of Protestant backgrounds or they have some closeness to that, there's always this issue of, but is it biblical? Is Catholicism biblical? I had a conversation with someone recently and they were like, Yeah, but if anyone reads the Bible, they can't

And I just crack up because I, you know, there are guys like you, of course, Dr. Hahn, Dr. Bergsma, all of these guys that clearly know the Bible.

So let's just dispel this notion right now for anybody who's watching that's thinking about becoming Catholic.

Yeah, not only is Catholicism biblical, but I would say you can't be a consistent Bible Christian as a sort of lone ranger.

And it's easy to do that for a long time and not sort of zoom out and see what you're doing.

But for, for me it was, you know, the, um, It was the realization that that is unbiblical, unhistorical, and unworkable.

So like, Jesus didn't give us a book, he gave us a church, and he sent his apostles to preach, and they did that successfully.

And so we rely, even as Protestants, we were relying on the work of the church to have compiled the table of contents for us.

Most of the early manuscripts that we have are not a collection bound together of all the inspired books for us to do our theology from.
