Well, it's, first of all, I think it's only 15 because he got five years, right? Like that's-- They were like, "Hey, we're not gonna do-- We, we'd like 18 if it was eight years.

I think it's a huge failure on my part that I wasn't able to get this guy to sign for eight years.

I, I can't blame it, like it-- I'll only blame Chicago for not getting an eight years if we find out that Connor wanted an eight-year deal and they're like, "No, no, five's better." But if the player is like, "No, I would like to go to free agency, and I haven't really enjoyed my entry level contract with you, and I'm not overly s- confident you're gonna be able to build a sustained winner around me.

Um, but I want a lot of money, so I, instead of only going four years, I'll give you one UFA year to get the money to 15." Like if that was Connor's idea, I can't blame the Blackhawks.

But- If Connor was like, "I'd like to be a Blackhawk for as long as humanly possible," and the Blackhawks said, "Cool, here's a five-year deal," yeah, then I'll flame the Blackhawks for sure.
