I don't know if you guys have seen this, uh, that Thomas Tuchel has said that he wish he'd eaten some of the turf at the Azteca so that there would always be a part of the turf in his body.

I think Tuchel, if he's still around, or the England set-up would be looking for him for 2028, two years away, for the Euros.

He's certainly good enough, and he'll be more than a Theo Walcott-type mascot coming along for the ride.

His inquest into the World Cup, of course, is going to be laid bare in a documentary on the England app, where he sits down with Daniel Sturridge and goes through the World Cup.

But one of the clips we have seen... is of Thomas Tuchel not saying that he wishes he didn't take off Anthony Gordon, not saying that he regrets bringing on 50 defenders when we're 1-0 up against Argentina and ruining our chances at the World Cup.

His big regret is that he didn't eat the Azteca turf after what was, let's be honest, a brilliant win.

That was unbelievable.

I couldn't watch that because I was so upset about how close we'd come under Gareth Southgate.
