#156 The Brown Mountain Lights REVISITED

So the Brown Mountain Lights are this mysterious ghost light slash orb phenomenon.

It's been reported near Brown Mountain, North Carolina for like over 100 years at this point.

And Brown Mountain is located in the Pisgah National Forest.

So we've got national forest, national park stuff right off the bat here.

And it's near the town of Morganton, which is in Burke County.

So it's like 70 miles northeast of Asheville.

So in kind of the western part of the state.

According to reports, the Brown Mountain Lights have been known to appear in several different forms.

They appear as either a single light or sometimes as a cluster of multiple lights.

They've been known to appear as white or yellow or orange in color, but also red, blue, and green lights have been reported, but those are a little less common.

The movements of the lights also range dramatically.

And they range from slow and deliberate to rapid and erratic.

And typically sightings can last anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes.

And I've got some pictures of the Brown Mountain Lights.

So this first picture is kind of a further away picture.

And you can see this kind of... plasma orb type situation above the mountain ridge and then if you scroll down to the next photo it's like a zoomed in enlarged version of that same picture and you can see this thing's very weird shaped even for like a lot of the orbs and things like that that we talk about on the show um it's got like a main like kind of round orb type body but then it has like this tail that squiggles off of it almost like a meteor or a comet or something like that what do you think shane

I would say this is going to sound extremely bizarre, but it looks like it's fishhook shaped like

both of those lights.

Like, yeah, I don't know how else to describe it other than like it almost appears to be like a reverse fishhook like where you imagine like where the point where you would stab the worm is what's tailing off into the back.

Yeah, that's kind of a good point.

Like, how it's shaped, it almost looks like this thing has to be under some sort of intelligent control for it to move in that manner.

This doesn't look like, you know, like we said, like a falling star or a meteor or anything like that.

That or just to throw in another possible weird theory to it, like talking about things that exist outside of like our understanding of reality, something that would bend and contort like that almost kind of seems like, I know I'm always throwing back to this as one of my favorite things to talk about, but like maybe fourth dimensional objects where we're not necessarily seeing them in the full perspective they're supposed to be seen.

Um, I'm not saying like necessarily like an intelligent extraterrestrial or anything like that, but you know, maybe some type of like reflection of like some type of light or something coming from like somewhere else.
