So, We've looked at Paul's perspective on his own ministry and looking at his life and many great men never finish what they begin.
If you looked at your physical life, there's a lot of things that are unfinished.
You've got unfinished sculptures, paintings, unfinished read books or written books, unfinished symphonies, whatever it is, the physical life doesn't allow you to complete what you set out to do.
You build a business, but do you get to see the business to fruition to its end? Most likely not.
Do you get to see the end of your children's life? That's not how nature works.
You typically are to die before they even die.
Some have children that have experienced death as under God's plan, but the natural componentry of nature's experience is you grow old and you die and your children continue to live.
So there is a lot of unfinished work that you're going to have in this physical life.
And in some cases, a lot of the dreams of your life, you die seeing only them halfway done.
But see, the natural life, this physical life is just like that.
Life is cruel in that sense.
For the ungodly, for the unfaithful, there is no guarantee that they will ever see the completion of what they dreamed of or dreamed of doing.
There's no guarantee at all.
For whatever that thing is that you pursue that may give meaning to your life, there's no promise that you'll ever accomplish it.
But I think...
That's true.
I don't think that's true for Christians.
Vicki, I don't see her in the waiting room, so I can't help her.
She needs to probably log out and log back in, but she's not in the waiting room.
So I believe in my heart, he will not only give you the spiritual gifts to do that, but he will not only open the doors, as he said he was, even in the letters to the seven churches, and he will not only make the ministry a possibility, but he will give you the time to finish it.
We talked about that last several weeks.
