Hi, Paul.
Now, here we are in the last week of May, and I finally got round to listening to episode 125 of Beer Prime recently, the look back at Collabageddon from November.
I, I made my annual pilgrimage to the Nags Head in Reading, where I was fortunate to have a, a chat with Andy Parker, and also able to work my way through thirds of all 12 beers which were on, including three on cask.
Looking at my scores, none were less than six out of 10.
There were a couple of 6.5s, but my top three, um, was Thornbridge and Haand's Transatlantic IPA, which was just fantastic.
And a big surprise for me, I really enjoyed the Origins beer from Fine Ales and Brew House, the red Grenache mixed fermentation beer, uh, closely followed by the white wine version between Fine and Wild Horse.
It's not a style that I usually enjoy.
Um, also listening to the Pelico podcast recently, Thornbridge's Dom Driscoll spoke very highly about his experience at Brolly and the overall quality of their beers.
Right.
Looking forward to Collabageddon 2026 in November already.
Thank you, Paul.
Thanks very much for the message, Simon.
Yes, Collabageddon 2025 was a great success.
Um, there were some fantastic beers there, and a few surprises, just as you said as well, certainly with those Origins, um, beers.
But 2026, November is not that far away now.
I suppose we're only, only just about five months away, and I'm sure that Andy is already thinking about who he's going to be inviting for this year's one.
And it's Elusive's 10th anniversary, so who knows? There might be some surprises in store with who we get involved in Collabageddon 2026.
Okay, if you want to send me a voice message just like Simon did, then of course you can get in touch by going to speakpipe.com/beerprime.
Right.
