[dramatic music] Two miles north of the town of Moffat, which is in Dumfriesshire in Scotland, the main road from Carlisle to Edinburgh crosses the ravine where a small stream, Gardenholm Linn, runs to the River Annan through a remarkably peaceful countryside.

On the morning of the 29th of September some years ago, several crudely wrapped bundles were observed lying on the banks of the ravine below the road.

From one of the bundles protruded a naked human arm.

That's all.

Where'd they go?

Now, over the summer you've probably seen the massive combine harvesters crawling across the fields to cut grain.

But what if you've got a very small patch of cereal crops? How do you harvest it? A community farm near Edinburgh has been struggling to find answers, as Richard Baines has been finding out.

[walking on dry leaves] It's harvest time at Lauriston Farm here near Edinburgh.

With just half an acre of Hebridean rye, old-fashioned harvest techniques have been revived.

Well, I have a story told to me by an Edinburgh fireman.

Oh.

And I call it the Edinburgh fireman story.

Wow.

Now, the reason is because I don't know the gentleman's name.

Oh, okay.

Or the exact location.

She is a comedian, writer, and actress.

Here's my conversation with the very funny Rachel Cauley.

How long have you been in L.A.? Kind of three years.

That's true.

Called Between Us.

And you'll be performing it in Edinburgh.

Have you been to Edinburgh before? I've done

Absolutely right.

Although, I mean, I must say, I was actually down in Edinburgh when the Oasis, I was actually working down there when the last two Oasis concerts were down there.

You know, I can absolutely understand.

It was such a lovely feeling.

It was buzzing and, you know, everyone was just having a good time.

And I guess, you know, whether you're a mad Oasis fan or not, you cannot fault the way the fans were just, you know, they were just out to have good fun.

Darren Barker will be crossing the Strait of Gibraltar on Monday.

So by the time you're hearing this, he should already be well on his way to bring an end to his epic 1,800-mile journey from Edinburgh to Morocco.

This was all undertaken in memory of his friend, fellow world champion, to raise money for Campaign Against Living Miserably.

Excellent acronym.

So a pair of ocarinas, so there's gonna be a, an actual instrument ocarina that you can get from the Nintendo store, and then another one will be an electric ocarina which is gonna be made by Hori, which will be apparently usable in the actual Ocarina of Time game which is coming up.

And then they went on to announce a, "Hey, by the way, yes, there's gonna be this live orchestra 40th anniversary, uh, and it's gonna be touring all over the place." Uh, they showed some of the dates, uh, just like places like Edinburgh, uh, Glasgow, Stockholm, San Francisco.

A few dates showed, but apparently there's gonna be more dates as well.

I hope they have a Canadian date 'cause so far there was no Canadian dates.
