And we're going to kick things off in a city that I just drove through last week, Amarillo.

For instance, the data center down in Childress, a lot of people are upset about that because Lake McKenzie is pretty low.

And then there's just been a lot around us, especially here in Amarillo.

They should be farther away from some of the cities and things where they're not interfering with cities, power, cities, water, those sorts of things.

I do think that in the communities that where these data centers are mostly at, they should be giving back to communities.

You know what I mean? So like if you build a data center, you know, if there's one around Amarillo, I do believe that that data center should help feed and contribute continuously to amarillo not just the initial build out right the initial build out is a wave you know that a lot of people go eventually yeah for five or six years you got a lot of people coming in and there's a lot of industry here but when they stop building them they're all going to move on

they're just going to have robots out there doing everything

In March, it announced a new 900-megawatt campus in Abilene to support Microsoft right next to its existing Abilene site, bringing the projected total there to about 2.1 gigawatts.

In September, it had also said that the developer behind Google's data center campus is under construction in Armstrong County right outside of Amarillo.

Now, the new financing doesn't say the $700 million goes to either of those campuses, just to be clear.

But it does tell you and give you an idea of the scale that Crusoe is working at, right? The company says it has more than 6 gigawatts of AI infrastructure capacity under contract right now with customers that, as we mentioned, include Microsoft, Google, Oracle, and even OpenAI's Stargate initiative.
