Chris Pollard

Can you call and see if I can get into the camp at the University of Virginia, say? That's where I'm from, so.

I would call Chris Pollard and say, hey, I got a young man here who really wants to work camp.

You got a spot for him.

He goes down and works the camp.

Now, when you're down there talking to Chris Pollard and his coaches, they have you ask them, can I work the Louisville camp? Can I work the Virginia Tech camp? Next thing you know, you're working six or seven camps and you're meeting all these people.

And then when the jobs come open, you've made the connections and you show the work ethic and you show that you have a desire to be great.

Those things add up and people do remember and good people remember it.

Okay, so we've been talking about, we've sort of referred to Chris quite a few times.

Chris Pollard, who's your head brewer, been with you, as you say, for about eight and a half years.

um i met chris at tap social changes brewing where he was there representing you and uh he was the last of the guest breweries i interviewed so 11 breweries uh yeah um that was an interesting um interview particularly as i also didn't want to really go too much into detail of the brewery because i knew that i'd be um yeah sitting down with yourself so Yeah, that was one of those I really don't recall much of at all.

But so you said that when he joined you, he hadn't even brewed before.
