Like people like Allie Denning, um, had this space dungeon C that was so cool.
Um, that was like her dungeon but also there were shows there all the time um and there yeah there's still like atlantic mills there are a bunch of places uh in onlyville in the mills that were having stuff and people are also just having shows at their houses Yeah, I don't know what else to say.
I've made a lot of comics also there, but because they have like this place, AS220, that's like this longstanding, it's like a very now formalized community center, but has a big print studio, like a community print shop.
So, like, yeah, you could make your comics and make your T-shirts for merch and whatever and then make your tapes and just sell them to your friends.
If I had to sum it up into two concepts, like the same way everything sort of went to shit, housing market changed drastically.
Like rent was no longer 200 bucks for your room in like a big Victorian house.
So like you would say though, like more directly, like it was like kind of gentrification in Providence?
But I don't think that's specific to Providence because I had the exact same experience in Berlin.
