My guest today is Jordan Abizaid, who is a research assistant and deputy manager of the Generation Liberty program at the Institute of Public Affairs in Melbourne.

Today, we discuss his report revealing the extent of the Australian government's funding for left-wing NGOs, some of the challenges of Rust Belt Christianity, drawing on the lessons from his youth, the pros and cons of accelerationism, and what the recent debate on the ABC between John Anderson and Nyadol Nyuon tells us about what it means to be Australian, and much, much more.

There are plenty of better people, um, no doubt, who, um, you know, uh, uh, wouldn't be as good at politicians or, or wouldn't have, uh, espouse the same type of positions.

The concerns that Leo specifically, but also I would say other people who are, because he's a self-defined AI, what is the word? Accelerationist.

And that people who are AI accelerationists kind of have, which is this idea that...

When these kinds of things happen, it feels like it's somebody who doesn't understand that it's a program and that it's a tool.
