Shiur #237 Chapter 23 (19-20), July 20, 2026

I'm going to start straight away because, as I said, it's only going to be a half shiur today because I've got to go to an azkara at 5.30, so again I'm going to mute everybody and begin straight away.

This is the shiur, we are currently in the 23rd chapter of Yechezkov and we're up to verse 19.

We discussed last week the parallels between the northern kingdom and the exile of the conquest of the northern kingdom and the way the southern kingdom paid no attention or seemed to pay no attention to what was happening in the north And, of course, it eventually happened to them as well.

At this point in time, in verse 19, chapter 23, verse 19, we visit an old friend.

God introduces us to an old friend that we've not spoken about since the beginning of the chapter.

And that old friend is Egypt.

So, verse 19, chapter 23, verse 19.

And he's addressing the southern kingdom.
