Ethiopia

Uh, pulled over along Route twenty-seven there to the west of the Pentagon.

And, uh, I stopped and, uh, said, "Hey, buddy." He's a, a Horn of Africa guy, uh, um, a, a Ethiopian or Eritrean.

And, and I, uh, said in his...

And there's a, a streetlight, uh, had been crushed, had landed on his car crashing.

I said, "So, uh, what'd you see?" I got out and, uh, said...

And he's the only guy around.

And I said, "So, uh, what happened here?" He said, "The airplane, the airplane came down, the wing hit the streetlight and, uh, uh, broke it off and threw it into my car." And I knocked on the hood of his car twice, and I said, "Hope your insurance covers terrorism." He's a Horn of Africa, uh, you know, Ethiopian or Eritrean, uh, Muslim guy, uh, Black African Muslim guy.

And, uh, and, uh, he didn't, he didn't laugh or anything, but, uh...

... yeah, second and third, two Aussies.

But they put- they put Spenno's, uh, flag was a Ethiopian flag.

Kakuma has millions.

We've had, uh, Ethiopians as refugees.

We've had South Sudan, uh, refugees in the country.

Now, like, um, so, uh, okay, so there's something important about him going there down to hell and seeing them enchained beings, huh? There's something important about that.

It does talk about that elsewhere, doesn't it? I think it ki- isn't it in Ephesians, it talks about the, uh, him going down to the chained ones, and in Jude he talks about that stuff that becomes more illustrative in the Book of Enoch, which of course in the Ethiopian, but not in more customary w- Western, should we say, I don't know what the right word is, Bibles.

Um, so this, um, what you see there, something you've said about that portal about our Lord, isn't it hard, do you think, Wendy, to find the right language for something that's like cr- uh, the generation of frequency, the generation of new energy, the generation of new connection, interdimensionality, that Flatlander stuff, that Flatlander stuff? I saw Carl Sagan talking about that Flatland thing.

How he was going to do that was now a different plan because he'd never been trained to do that, not with two engines out.

On November 23, 1996, the Ethiopian Airlines flight 961 had to connect Ethiopia to the Ivory Coast.

The first 20 minutes went as planned.

And then I saw a guy sort of floating up quietly and slowly up the way and I said, uh oh, this looks like some sort of coordinated Effort must be a hijack.

Before this incident, the flight commander had already been victim to two other detours.

In 1992, two men had erupted into the cockpit with grenades, demanding to be taken to Canada from a Kenyan airport.

In 1995, five men had detoured an interior flight in Ethiopia to redirect it to Sudan.

In both cases, everyone survived and the air pirates were arrested.

And so what we did is we gave them digital wallets, all controlled by the blockchain, all of the, uh, every individual thing, and so that they could go in and we could create refugee camps in which you could enhance the local economy.

And then we spread that out to be able to have subsistence farmers in, um, Sub-Saharan Africa or in the oldest, um, uh, uh, in Dadaab, the, the, the five generations of refugees from, uh, i- in, on the border of g- uh, uh, Kenya and Ethiopia, in which people, all who have phones, all...

Everybody has these phones, would be able to a- transact digitally outside of the banking system.

Um, you know, and the, the first coffee came from, um, the romantic stories is a farmer.

So he's goats eating beans in Ethiopia and, uh, you know, he then, um, threw some of those beans into the fire and the roasting, the smell of that coffee, uh, was amazing.

So, um, yeah, I think New Zealand as a whole, as a country is, is really, really exciting with what they're doing from a coffee perspective and really pushing those boundaries.

So we've earned our stripes, which is great.

I ended up going to Ethiopia for the famine of 2003, ultimately to Somalia, Sudan, covered the civil war in Uganda with child soldiers, I think 15 different countries and Africa alone.

Were you taking it easy or not?

I realized at some point that that was really no way to make a living and no way to have a long, healthy life.
