Nebuchadnezzar II

When you feel overwhelmed, what do you do? When you feel like everything is out of your control, how do you exercise some small level of control so that you feel normal? Because isn't that what so much of it is? You, you want to feel normal.

What do you do? What do you do? And what was it? Was it 586 BC? Nebuchadnezzar's army swarmed Jerusalem, killed the sons of the king, blinded the king.

The last thing he saw was his sons being murdered before he was carted off to Babylon.

Jeremiah writes a letter to the exiles who have been carted off to Babylon.

God's people did not heed the warning of the men of God.

Because of that, a mighty army came from Babylon, headed up by King Nebuchadnezzar, and took the Jews into captivity.
