I think one big reason that I was very, that I looked at a lot was Trayshon Brown having nine carries for 90 yards, having 10 carries per, 10 yards per carry and not getting more carries.
I mean, Alabama obviously they've wanted to spread around the run game a lot, and they've done that with, especially in this game, they continue to do that.
But I think when a guy has 10 yards per carry, you got to give him more than nine carries.
You got to get him into those double digit numbers and get his, his yards up.
Now, I know he did have a big run, which kind of increased his average a lot.
They recovered all four of them, which, I mean, that just sometimes the ball doesn't bounce your way, right? So there, there was a bunch of things.
But I think, I think one thing I really keyed in on was the run game, how it was still good, 161 yards, but Trayshon Brown having nine carries for 90 yards, I feel like you got to give him the ball more when he's being that productive.
I think, uh, it's, this has been kind of a problem with this team, uh, with this staff is there are times where they want to throw the ball so bad, even if the run game is working, they're like, "We have to throw the ball." They were having success in the run, and honestly it felt like that's where the most of success for them.
If you're gonna blitz the quarterback, you want to have either a really good one-on-one or you want to outnumber the offensive lineman, the blockers, and that's what Kirby was doing, getting pressure in, in Keilan's face.
'Cause if you look at the offensive line stats, they didn't do a horrible job.
They were just outnumbered on every blitz package that Kirby sent, which makes it difficult for Keilan, and the staff didn't really do a good job of putting him in the best position to win.
I even thought, like, the play call when they got kicked out of field goal range was, like, dumb.
Just run the ball, right? Like, you have to be situationally aware that the first play didn't go your way.
