Dre Kirkpatrick Jr.

Uh, we'll have to wait and see.

But Husky, I have Red Morgan, I have Chuck McDonald, and I have Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. Didn't see any of Chuck McDonald last week.

I didn't see him on the injury report.

I don't know if anything was circulating about his health and him not being available.

So I, I need to go find out if he actually played any special team snaps or if he was completely out, but I did find that interesting.

I...

Now granted, Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. is the more physical player of the two, and going against Georgia's offense and the fact that you needed to match that physicality, uh, you needed somebody who would be willing to mix things up there in the box.

Um, you know, uh, maybe this was just a game for Dre Kirkpatrick, or maybe he just had a really good week of practice.

In many ways there were still some missed flags on Alabama.

I thought Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. uh, probably should have had a, a, a, um, he probably should have had a, uh, personal foul called against him with the, uh, after the sliding of Gunner Stockton, and then he goes down and hits him, and you can see the way Dre Kirkpatrick reacts that a flag should have been thrown.

Um, of course, the pass interference, the missed face mask, uh, uh, so many things in that game that we could go back on and sit back and harp about.

But the truth of the game, Alabama didn't get outworked in the game, but they did get outplayed statistically.

Uh, Chuck McDonald is, you know, ready to contribute.

And I say that, um, DeMani Jackson's the only one, Dashaun Jones too, but you got Chuck McDonald, you got Dre Kirkpatrick Jr.

I mean, it just...

I, I can't really tell you what the problem is.

It was a good call, but I love Dre makes something happen.

When Drake or Patrick plays, something's going to happen because he is all around the ball.

He's one of the more instinctive kids, and that's why me and you loved him from the start.

And I see Lee Tamwan saying run the ball.

Why is Chuck McDonald playing? Why is Chuck McDonald getting meaningful reps? He had a PDU on the goal line there when this was a seven-point football game.

Why is Chuck McDonald on the field in that situation and not Red Morgan, who had his first career interception earlier in the day? Why not Dre Kirkpatrick Jr.

that they seem to be loving on that side of the football there? Why are these guys playing and not Red or Dre Jr.? Again, it was a long football game.

It was a hot football game.

I think it was the Devin Tompkins strip sack that at least put me at ease in that football game.

But if I can give you one more pick this week that I'm going to be looking forward to, Dre Kirkpatrick Jr., a guy that won't start – But always finds a way to make an impact at the game.

He had a forced fumble last week.

He should have had a pick six week one against ECU.

And if I'm taking Bray Hubbard to get an interception, I'll take Drake or Patrick to force a fumble.

Drake or Patrick Jr. is going to be one of my other picks on this Alabama defense.

Yeah, I think Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. is more like a guy his dad played with at Alabama, and that's Javier Arenas.

I think he is sort of the perfect utility defensive back, sub-defensive back, if you want to call him that.
