I'm not saying they shouldn't do it.

There's certainly not going to be a Kirby Smart or Kurt Cignetti or Lane Kiffin available.

So you're going to have to get a guy that doesn't have probably a huge name to be your head coach, and you're going to have to get him somebody that can put a roster together.

Whether it's him or somebody else, somebody needs to.

Daniel, we're talking about what we're excited about, what we're nervous about, and what not to sleep on for this whiteout in Athens, which, by the way, can I just – we were on a couple news stations this week, and just people want to ask about the whiteout.

I love, again, Kirby Smart is running circles around everybody.

I have yet to hear anybody.

I think if you believe that's true, and I know that's true, Arkansas is a tougher opponent.

Do you also know who understands what an SEC road game looks like? And he's been snippy to the press so far.

Smooch, um, Western Kentucky this week, and they got absolutely obliterated-

... uh, this past week.

And people were talking about Tyson Helton as a coach.

He's a friend of Kirby Smart's, and they got better players, much better players than does Tennessee State, but they just struggled, um, uh-

They could not get it together.

And getting into the game that y'all actually tuned into the podcast for, we have Western Kentucky at number two, our number two Georgia, who are 40.5 point favorites over under 55.5.

The first note I have is, spoiler, Kirby has been telling us all week that they won't even try to cover the spread in this game because via Jordan Hill, Kirby Smart, talking about the Western Kentucky coaching staff, I know Tyson Helton got a lot of respect for him.

Their coaches come down and work our campus during the summer.

Kirby Smart also noted that Western Kentucky has multiple former Georgia staffers or players.

on their staff.

Now, just to add, I have a lot of respect for this coach talk.

I'm not saying they shouldn't do it.

I think it's a brilliant marketing maneuver.

I don't know if this was always the plan, When Kirby Smart made the glory, glory call about wearing the white uniforms, I don't know if this was always the way they saw it unfolding.

But basically manufacturing this week two recruiting weekend by having a uniform combo and branding it as a whiteout for the fans, it's created some energy and excitement around this game that I don't think would have existed otherwise.

without it like you're coming off Tennessee State boring little win kind of more of the same as expected against Western Kentucky before you get into SEC play but this is now as we'll talk about a very big recruiting weekend for Georgia like they're going to be elite top of the board prospects and at every position that Georgia is going to be bringing on campus this week.

Completely agreed.

And I'll say on the white out front and the white uniforms front, like I am genuinely looking forward to being there because I think there will be an energy in that stadium for a game like that that doesn't typically exist.

And I know that Kirby Smart is referred to it as fake juice at times throughout his coaching tenure.

But you know what? Sometimes fake juice is good.

But if you're the backer, you're going to need to make sure you are focusing on your keys and your eyes are in the right place.

It reminds me a lot of what Kirby Smart – there's a very famous clip he has where he's talking about – looking at an RPO and it's hilarious.

It's one of my favorite clips.

Cause he, he's such a genius when it comes to defensive mind.

Georgia Tech rushed for 51 yards.

51 yards on 30 attempts against, again, Colorado, not Nick Saban's Alabama defense, not a Kirby Smart defense.

Colorado.

[laughs] So I mean, the ability for Tennessee to shut down that run, put the football in Alberto Mendoza's hands and make him go win it- We'll see.

Well, in college, you need the president, the boosters, and the coach to all be on the same page.

Ask Kirby Smart what he demanded out of Georgia when he went there.

They gave it to him and everything changed.
