Zolzcast - Week 98

The first topic we're going to go to is the biggest story in New York sports right now being the rivalry back in the Bronx tomorrow for Game 1 of the Wild Card Series.

Keep

going.

I ain't throwing you a light preserver, son.

No.

I was going to throw it to you.

No, I'll jump in.

I think this series is obviously reigniting that rivalry that's been going on, but maybe slowed down into the more recent years.

And I think it's big just because of the whole Aaron Judge aspect of him not being...

Healthy, not healthy, we don't know yet.

And if he is playing, is he at 100%? Probably not.

No, there's no chance.

There's no chance.

So is a healthy Aaron Judge better than a replacement at 100% health?

Okay, so you played the game on a decent level.

You played at the Mount, and you were one of the better hitters.

You know that when the superstar is healthy... or even not himself, and he's in the lineup, the other team pitches to everybody else in that lineup differently.

100%.

Everybody else is going to see more fastballs.

They just want to get rid of them.

So just the threat of him being around the corner is enough for the Red Sox to handle their business differently.

Yeah.

Now, remember, the Red Sox, they were at 1.14 games out.

And people were saying, well, they'll figure it out for next year.

They were the next year team.
