So, I was scrolling through my social feeds, as I do, and I came across Nigel Godrich's Instagram page, who is a producer extraordinaire of Radiohead... and Idols, and Charlotte Gainsbourg, if I'm not mistaken.
Anyway, Prolific, he started the From the Basement series.
You guys are big Radiohead fans.
You all know what's up.
Are you familiar with his work at least? I had the pleasure of being introduced to him through Roger Waters' people, namely Sean Evans, Roger's visual artist.
And Nigel was nothing but super nice.
And at first I was like, why would I recognize this guy from? I didn't quite put it two and two together.
And then it dawned on me.
Some of my favorite albums of all time.
And got to, you know, kind of mingle, whatever, you know, he was working, I was working, sort of, but we had, you know, got to know each other pretty well because we were traveling together, you know, at least, you know, for that time.
and so i try to keep up with him um and i know that he surrounds himself with you know a great talent all the time and so anyway i see on his feed that he's promoting uh a show in la and i was like whoa nigel's playing in a band and i remembered he was in a also in a band called adams for peace with tom york
that's right flea that's
right and uh joey warrenker um So I thought, hey, maybe I should go see this show.
And it turns out that it was sold out.
