Can I say that one thing that I am jealous about other cities, I would say LA specifically, is they have this movie series at the Hollywood Cemetery.

But they're joining me today because they just recently dropped a new EP, Who Sent You? They're playing just a limited number of shows, which I'll be attending one on Sunday, which I believe, geez, what day is that? It's September 20th.

Um, at the Masonic lodge at the Hollywood forever cemetery.

So I'm going to give you a few days notice to know about that show.

There might not be any tickets left, but if you live in the LA area and you can try to get there, go for it.

But I did get a chance to go see something else.

Just last night, I was out in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery where Sarah and I caught a screening of Labyrinth, the Jim Henson film, which I had never seen before.

I know we talked about it a little bit when we covered Dark Crystal, the other dark fantasy Jim Henson project.

But have you seen Labyrinth?

The Last Bookstore, which is in downtown LA.

Hollywood Forever, which is a known, uh, kind of grave site for a lot of very famous people, and [laughs] I've actually been to a party there, so.

And it w- it was somewhat similar to what I saw in the movie.

But, uh, so, uh, those were, like, the first impressions, but then I kind of got into him on this kind of journey, the slacker's journey, conspiracy journey through LA, trying to figure things out, and I thought it was very interesting in, in that regard, where he was going through this process of discovery and trying to figure things out.

Like, he calls his mom, says everything's all right, but he's one of those people, I think, who, you know, were in Hollywood trying to make it, and he was in that subtext.

So that's where he's going to all these places where these parties are.

Hollywood Forever, the Standard Hotel, right? The rooftop hotel, where he hears about Severance dying and stuff like that.

So he, he's in that kind of, uh, layer of that society of, like, like you said, slackers, but, like, somebody late 20s, early 30s or something like that.

I actually was meaning to talk to you about this.

I did watch several songs from when they played at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery for the Ramones' 50th anniversary or something.

So if people don't know, it was Travis Barker on drums, Billy Joe Armstrong on guitar and vocals, Tim Armstrong on guitar, vocals, and then C.J. Ramone on bass.

And it was fine.
