And I think that's because, um, I want to get off of radio head, but I think that's because there are certain albums in a band's discography that people have been discussing in disparate forms or this or that, or, and, and have really strong opinions about, um, and are really excited to just hear other fans talk about those things.

Having said that, our OK Computer episode and In Rainbows episode remain our most popular overall.

So I think the albums that are the most beloved by a very dedicated fan base, people are going to jump to those.

Anyways, this sounds like I'm trying to do a backdoor brag or something like that, but it's really not.

Well,

no, no, I'm not a pushback, but I mean, we had just, uh, and we'll, we'll make this comparison or I will unplay it as we go.

But I, I do recall us in our Radiohead season, and this is not unique to Radiohead or My Chemical Romance, but, um, particularly OK Computer and in Rainbows, the suffering and laborious nature of it really being more of a benefit to those albums' overall quality.

I'm not going to say that that distinction exists with My Chemical Romance as well, but then maybe the albums that they broke that process or tried to improve on it so that it wasn't such a miserable experience maybe rank somewhat lesser in our overall favor.

Radiohead recorded much of their 1997 album OK Computer at St. Catherine's Court in English Manor, then owned by actress Jane Seymour.

Singer Tom York said Ghost would talk to him in his sleep.

After one night of hearing voices, he woke up and decided to cut his hair with the tiny scissors on a pocket knife.

But when I saw them on the bends at the Fillmore, it was such a game changer to me.

And the songwriting, it's abstract, but not like Kid A or OK Computer abstract.

It's just abstract, at that time, alternative rock.

That's what it was labeled, alternative rock.

And Fake Plastic Trees, all of this record is just phenomenal.

The album cover is incredible.

And it opened the doors so they could do OK Computer.

They went way away from Creep.

That is like, that must be, that's a long time ago.

And I think, uh, one of the very first like albums I started listening to was probably, um, Radio Heads, OK Computer, albums like that.

And then I discovered Jeff Buckley quickly after that, his album Grace.

And I think those albums had a huge impact on me.

Oh, no, I was going to say, this was the point at which Radiohead were doing The Bends and OK Computer.

And so that was a big influence on anybody who was playing music that had guitars and keyboards in it,
