101. Becoming a Global Thinker: A Conversation with The Women in the Arena and Iron Butterfly

Well, hello, ladies.

It's so good to see your smiling faces.

So good to see you guys,

too.

Yeah, great to be here.

Yeah, it's exciting to get us all together.

And before we get started and before we jump into our topic and our first question, I think the audience would just like a quick question.

You know, round robin of who we are and and then we'll get into the meat and potatoes, as I like to say, of the episode.

So, Sarah,

do you want to go first? Sure.

My name is Sarah Scully.

I am the host of the Women in the Arena podcast, which is a podcast powered by Iron Butterfly Media.

We've been in existence for about two years, which is pretty crazy.

It's been a great two years.

But at the heart of our platform, we amplify the stories of the women veteran community and the veteran community and beyond with folks who help to amplify our community and are just doing really amazing things in the world.

Awesome.

Allie, why don't you go next? Sure.

My name is Allie Roper.

I host the Wiser World podcast.

I am a world history teacher who tries to teach basic foundational world history and just concepts adjacent to world history, global thinking, stuff like that.

to people who wouldn't consider themselves history people.

Maybe they specialized in something completely different, but they want to be more well-rounded in their world education.

That's what I do.

So it's Wiser World Podcast, and we've been around for about four, a little over four years now.

Awesome.
