Episode 82: Marcus Freeman, Christian Gray & Cam Williams

Okay, it takes us to our Your Play, Your Way segment presented by True Value Hardware.

This is a thrill for me.

I get to break it down again.

Six plays this week.

I love it.

And the first one is special teams.

I felt like this is where the game really flipped for you guys a little bit because defensively, that was a spot on the field where fourth and four midfield, they're lining up for the fake or lining up for the punt, and you guys sniffed out the fake.

Yeah, it was a huge play for us because I think at that moment, it was still 0-0.

And we stopped the fake and our offense goes down and scores and it kind of took off from there.

But it was a huge, huge play and something we've been working on.

And so we'll kind of get into it.

Um, here's the clip.

I'm gonna show this from this view.

Uh, they're in four down territory.

They try to go for the fake.

Um, and obviously our guys do a great job of recognizing it and stopping it.

But there's a couple of things that the whole theme of, of...

these plays that I've kind of put together, except maybe for one of them, is trying to think a play ahead, right? So the very first punt, this is the second punt.

Okay.

The very first punt, we noticed, right? First of all, this is a team that faked it on us.

I'm sorry.

They faked the punt on us last year.

Right.

Right? And it's the same special teams coordinator.

I think they thought that was going to get us out of being aggressive, right? But we're going to be aggressive.
