والذين آمنوا واتبعتهم ذريتهم بإيمان ألحقنا بهم ذريتهم وما ألتناهم من عملهم من شيء كل امرئ بما كسب رهين.
وأمددناهم بفاكهة ولحم مما يشتهون.
يتنازعون فيها كأسا لا لغو فيها ولا تأثيم.
ويطوف عليهم غلمان لهم كأنهم لؤلؤ مكنون.
وأقبل بعضهم على بعض يتساءلون.
قالوا إنا كنا قبل في أهلنا مشفقين.
فمن الله علينا ووقانا عذاب السموم.
إنا كنا من قبل ندعوه إنه هو البر الرحيم.
And those who believed and whose descendants followed them in faith We will join them with their descendants, and We will not deprive them of anything of their deeds.
Every person for what he earned is retained.
And We will provide them with fruit and meat from whatever they desire.
They will exchange with one another a cup of wine wherein results no ill speech or commission of sin.
They will circulate among them servant boys especially for them as if they were pearls well protected.
And they will approach one another inquiring of each other.
They will say, "Indeed, we were previously among our people fearful of displeasing Allah.
So Allah conferred favor upon us and protected us from the punishment of the scorching fire.
Indeed, we used to supplicate Him before.
Indeed, it is He who is the Beneficent, the Merciful."
And this is from the completion and perfection of the bounty or the pleasure of the inhabitants of paradise.
أن ألحق الله بهم ذريتهم الذين اتبعوهم بإيمان أو الذين اتبعوهم بإيمان That Allah عز وجل made them joined, allowed them to be joined or followed by their progeny, by their descendants who followed them in faith, who followed them in faith.
أي لحقوهم بالإيمان الصادر من آبائهم أو لحقوهم Meaning they followed them in faith which originated from their fathers.
فصارت الذرية تبعًا لهم بالإيمان So the descendants became followers of their predecessors in faith.
Not in facial features, not in skin color, not in the type of hair, not in other elements and matters which people pay much more attention to.
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم.
