Do You Trust David Stearns? + LATEST MLB NEWS-Episode267-TilMetsDoUsPart

Yeah, you know, look, I did say online and I put it in the scroll at the bottom that we're going to talk a little bit around the league.

And, you know, we don't usually do that on this show.

And you know that because you do daily Mets content.

And like you said, this time of the year, you can't help but at least touch on what's going on in the Major League Baseball world, in the playoffs, in the CSs, like you said.

So one of the things I want to ask you about very, very quickly is, is this sort of hate watch that was going on for a lot of Mets fans, kind of deciding whether or not they wanted to root.

I know the Braves are now out, right? And that part of it is sorted.

But I just want to ask you where you fell on that, because I saw a lot of people saying that they would rather see the Braves advance than the Dodgers, which me, I...

I thought that was a bridge too far.

I understand the Dodgers are the target.

They're the evil empire, whatever.

They're the class.

Nobody likes to see dynasties anymore.

You want to just pick an opponent that the whole country can rally against, whatever.

But to me, you just can't root in the division.

That's where

I draw the line.

And some people got on me saying, oh, it's because you live in L.A.

Listen, I have no love for the Dodgers just because I live in Southern California.

I lived in New York for 34 years of my life.

So it has nothing to do with that part of it at all.

So I just want to ask you where you kind of stand as far as that's concerned.

I was doing on my show a little hate watch series and I was monitoring the Phillies and the Braves.

And I'll tell you, I have seen the comment of, oh, I'd rather see the Dodgers out.

That is a very small vocal minority because I'll tell you just the interest that I was getting when I was covering the Braves and the Phillies in the playoffs on my show.

There was a lot of interest still.
