My name is Chloe Baldwin, and I'm your host as we have incredible conversations with live performers about how to harness the attention of today's audiences.
They grew up in LA, trained in Liverpool, and now tour all over the world, currently with their show The Secret Circus Musical, which is a musical for kids, and debuts off-Broadway at Soho Playhouse on September 26th and will run for two weekends.
Gabe Colbrandt is the creator and performer of Gabs the Fool, which is a nationally touring Renaissance fair show that showcases his skills from rope walking to unicycling to juggling to crowd work in ways that bring forward classic clowning and vaudeville as a second generation clown, all without saying a single word on stage.
As a young adult, he moved into political organizing, but COVID brought him back to the stage to all of our benefit.
Both of these performers bring a full circus with them everywhere they go, and they are currently traveling everywhere.
We got deep, and I loved this conversation with two great friends of mine, and I hope you do too.
