it here that's a good question yours feels I know right yours feels more polished than mine more yours feels to me I mean you know you can't be objective about your own work it's hard to be objective for me at least um

know exactly so polish isn't the right word the way you just okay no no i want to i want to i want to talk about this i think it's interesting so the way you turn the form and the things that you choose to leave sort of to imagination which every good painter should do sometimes at least right are a little different than the choices that i make but they work so beautifully And, you know, I can't get out of my own skin.

So sometimes I see painters like yourself and I've just gotten to the point at 50, almost 52 now where I'm just like, you know what, I just got to be me, you know.

But there was a time where I would have seen your work, if I had seen your work 25 years ago, where I could have seen myself getting obsessed with trying to paint with the same types of decisions that you make.

where I feel like my paintings kind of end a little, you know, they turn out a little more gritty and raw, you know, for good or for

This was described to me, but just the description of this painting really said something.

I mean, it really spoke to me, is it was a painting, this is described by somebody

but it was three painters at their own easels, in a studio yeah and one person is looking off to the easel on the right trying to figure out what he's you know what he's getting

and that person to the right is looking at the easel to his right and that person is looking to the right
