Welcome to The Something to Say Radio Show with host, B.J. Rust! On today’s show, B.J. talks Lebron James signing with the Philadelphia 76ers, MLB trade deadline, New Orleans Saints and more! The…
I guess the biggest news in the sports world is, of course, LeBron James has made his decision on where he is going to play.
Now, if you've been listening to this show for any amount of time, you know that I'm not a big, huge LeBron James fan at all.
To be honest, me personally, and I know a lot of people would disagree with this statement, and I'm not just trying to give a hot take, but I don't even put him in the top.
If that was the case, you'd be looking more at Kareem Abdul-Jabbar or one of those guys who played forever.
And yeah, he's going to have all the stats when he retires, of course, because he's played forever.
And, of course, it's been a big deal for the last three weeks since he's announced that he was going to be leaving the Lakers, which, you know, the Lakers then took that money and promptly started signing free agents.
And I think they're going to be a better team without him next year than what they were with him.
However, you have a team, you know, he finally made his decision that he is going to be signing with the 76ers.
And he got a two year deal for eight million dollars plus a player option for a third.
Well, not a lot of podcasts, but I listen to a podcast specifically, and the guy on there likes to use the phrase, how can we miss you if you never leave? And I feel that's how I feel about LeBron James.
