Brandon Staley

Nine rushing touchdowns in four games.

Did you hear what, um, Troy Aikman said about Brandon Staley on the Monday night game?

I did.

I did.

Got there, they were in shambles.

Brandon Staley got fired on a night, I think the Raiders beat him like 60 to 7 on Thursday Night Football.

Got fired the next day.

So did, uh, Telesco.

I don't know why everybody's wa- ready to hop off of the Kellen Moore, the Kellen Moore thing.

They've got Brandon Staley who's a good coordinator face, defensive coordinator, and I think they're dealing with some injuries on that front as well.

So I just don't, I don't understand why we have to make these broad sweeping generalizations for young players instead of just letting it, just let this unfold.

Right.

So I don't know what's going to happen this week.

Brandon Staley is not really known for that defense.

um, throwing, you know, a bunch of blitzes and stuff like that.

So we'll see, I'm kind of expecting a lot of the same coverages they got last week.

And the way that they play defense...

Brandon Staley comes from the Vic Fangio kind of tree of that style of defense.

So really the last time, if you remember the last time they played his defense, TJ Hawkinson had one of those big games.

That was when I think he dropped the ball in the end zone, unfortunately, but they targeted him a lot because they were playing something that allowed the underneath stuff.

So did the Telesco.

It's crazy.

Um, dude, also Brandon Staley cannot coach in the NFL ever again.

Like-

[sighs]

And I feel bad, I feel bad for Kellen Moore, because I think Kellen Moore has done an incredible job, an awesome job with the offense.

Mm-hmm.

And Brandon Staley's defense is so bad it's like the stench of it is wearing off on the offense too, man.

[laughs]

So I don't know what's gonna happen this week.

Uh, Brandon Staley's not really known for that, um, throwing, you know, a bunch of blitzes and stuff like that.

So w- we'll see.

I'm kind of expecting a lot of the same coverages they got last week, and it was surprising how little Jeff Hafley dialed up a lot of those blitzes.

And the way that they play defense...
