Hello, Arizona Cardinals fans, and welcome to the latest edition of the Rise Up Secret Podcast, the best hour of Cardinals talk on the web.

Joining me for episode 819 is my co-host, Seth Cox, from avengethebirds.com, SB Nation's Arizona Cardinals site.

previews pricks predictions and prop bets is as we begin the regular season we've seen two NFL games already the NFC West is already looking like it's going to be a bunch of fun it's going to be interesting Seattle you know losing Sam Darnold for at least the next week they still squeak out a win over New England and then San Francisco beat the pants off the Rams and then the Cardinals They get buried behind the top CBS game.

My son is actually quite upset that the Cardinals are playing at the same time that Green Bay and Minnesota are playing because it means we won't be able to see Kyler Murray play.

Yeah, and I mean, that's just how it's going to work, right? Like, they're going to be on the...

on the losing end of, of most of these schedules early until they figure out how much they're going to, um, how much they're going to be worth in terms of entertainment and, you know, even winning games, obviously winning is going to be the main thing, but if they, if they are competitive and they show something consistently, I think that, I think that they'll start to, you know, become a little bit more favored in terms of national spotlight.

But until then, they're going to be lumped in with the Miamis and those type of teams, right, that they're going to just get enough to wet your whistle every week.

yeah then so let's jump into the preview part of the show where we look at the chargers we look at the cardinals what they're going to try to do what we already know uh is that while jeremiah love rookie running back jeremiah love who is questionable for the game officially is expected to play so they will have a full they they basically will have all of their skill players the the one thing offensively that they'll have to worry about is that there will be no isaiah adams it will be john gaines starting at right guard which means you're dipping from your right guard because there was no Chase Besantis.

But what do you expect to see from the Cardinals? What are they going to try to do both offensively and defensively against this Chargers team?

I mean, that's going to be really what we're interested in and how we're kind of interested in how this is all going to work out because we don't know.

Right now, we're looking at something so different than – what we've seen in the past and things of that nature.

But will that translate into real production during the games? So I think to start with, we're going to see a lot of...

I think we'll still see a lot of heavy 12 and even 13 personnel, right? We know that Mike LaFleur, like Drew Paxson, likes tight ends.
