**Lies, Damned Lies, & Government Statistics** The government is supposed to be there simply to protect its citizens from those that wish to do them harm. So why are they giving us statistics that…
And I had this idea, not really an idea, it's kind of a fact, that the government, what's its only purpose? It only has a couple, which we've talked about multiple times.
But basically, it's to protect us from foreign invaders and to protect us from criminals.
And the judicial system is there to be an arbiter between parties with disputes.
So if you look at that, the government's just there to protect us from people that mean us harm.
And the Constitution is there because they knew that the government in and of itself is not good or bad.
It's the psychopaths and megalomaniacs that tend to always... filter in and filter up in every government bureaucracy because they want more power and think they know better about your life than you do so everybody's like oh well it's the government it's the epa they know it's the cdc they know no they they've been wrong a lot And I'm going to give you some examples of that today.
But just remember that most of the people working there, it's like Ford Motor Company.
You don't necessarily get hired because you're the smartest or got the best grades or have, you know, are most in tune for the job you're just as likely to get hired because of a family member i mean statistically speaking do you know that about a third of everybody in the army is a legacy meaning their dad probably or their mother or father or both were in the military services before that
And if you add in cousins and that and the other thing, bringing people in, it moves up closer to 80%.
Now, isn't that what we're trying to get away from? I mean, we literally fought the Revolutionary War to get away from the monarchy, to get away from the king.
So why do we have two Roosevelts being elected? Why do we have two Bushes? And then Jeb Bush even ran, saying his dad and brother were both president, and he ran for president but didn't make it through the primaries, Devin.
Now, out of 335 million people, what's the likelihood that if I get elected, my wife is the best choice? Or flip that around, if Lila is elected as president, what's the likelihood that she married somebody that is the best choice out of 335 million people that we should both be elected? Slim.
Or what if she were the president? And like, oh, well, that means her son, Devin, would make a great president.
