Robert has spent more than three decades building companies that challenge the way things have traditionally been done.

He and his brother Jeffrey co-founded Moosejaw, the outdoor retailer later acquired by Walmart.

They then partnered with Edward Norton to create Crowdrise, a pioneering online fundraising platform acquired by GoFundMe in 2017.

In 2022, Robert, Jeffrey, and Edward co-founded Zec, a technology platform created to rethink the traditional board meeting and help organizations make board communication, governance, and decision-making more effective.
