Um, I do wanna mention, um, something before we get started which is actually going to be a part of the conversation with each of my guests.

I know Steve and Eric and I are gonna talk about this, and I know Esmeralda and I are definitely gonna talk about it.

Um, there have been, like, a rash of celebrity deaths that happened the past week, actually past couple of months.

It's not like, [swallows] you know, um, we'd get hit with a lot of celebrity deaths, uh, at one time, but sometimes it's just like, "Wow, man, enough." And that's how it felt this week, um, uh, for a few days in a row, a couple of days in a row in fact.

Um, Tuesday, um, uh, we find out that Dolly Parton passed away, um, one of the most, um, iconic talents that's ever lived, um, um, um, a completely beloved country superstar, actress, um, activist, uh, people-- you know, a person who really cared about human beings, um, um, a person who, who people loved.

Um, extraordinarily talented in every possible way as a musician, as a songwriter, as an actress, as a, as a person who r- raised awareness and cared about everybody, was not judgmental, um, [lip smack] was a beautiful, uh, iconic figure to the world.

Well, she passed away, and then literally within 12 to 16 hours, Tim Curry, uh, died.

He'd had a stroke and, um, and you know, he was wheelchair-bound, and he was ill for a while, and he wasn't, you know...

Um, uh, and so it wasn't a, it wasn't a complete shock when, when, when, uh, when Tim Curry died.

Um, Dolly Parton's death was, um, you know, she had had some health issues over the years, but we, it was a very private battle with cancer that we, that we found out, and then she passed away.

They were both 80 years old, um, and they died within hours of each other, and it was a real huge, uh, kick in the face, um, after several celebrity deaths that have happened over the course of the last, uh, uh, you know, few months.

Uh, and, and the last few months for me personally have been a nightmare, uh, situation.

I'm, uh, uh, still, like, dealing with going through perhaps the worst breakup of my life and, and so, you know, not really happy and being feel- feeling lonely and all that kinda crap and all of this stuff with the, with the, you know, stuff that's happening in the world, which is always a pain in the ass to follow, um, and certain things in my life.

And then, like, people that I really love in the entertainment world and people that I admire, some of which I've met, um, died over the past, like, you know, few months or so.

Uh, and in a row like that, Tim Curry, iconic, amazing, obviously, Rocky Horror Picture Show, uh, Clue, um, uh, you know, uh, great work on Tales from the Crypt and, and so many other movies, and, uh, Oscar and Congo, and, but, uh, uh, just an amazingly wonderful talent and iconic and meant a lot to, to the LGBTQ community, um, for his performances, Frank-N-Furter.

Um, and same with, uh, with, uh, Dolly Parton, LGBTQ community, and people who, you know, children who read books.

These are two really, um, you know, they're celebrities that crossed over into just being iconic that people were really touched by, and they died within, you know, hours of each other.

Uh, Shelley Fabares, a, a terrific actress who was on Coach and The Donna Reed Show and so many others, she passed away.

Uh, Michael Wright, a tremendous actor who appeared in The Five Heartbeats, um, and V and so many, and Sugar Hill, a really intense and great, terrific actor.
