Will SPIDER-MAN: Brand New Day Destroy Doomsday at the Box Office?

And I have to say I was impressed.

And I texted what, Brian? What did I text you?

Which one? We had a few.

The first? You mean the one with the number? Two billion.

Which No Way Home was just under that, right? So this has been a conversation of culmination of 20 years Spider-Man movie.

How much of an impact was that? Versus No China.

And let's not forget, you know, that was end of 21.

Like, COVID was still, like, theaters were open.

But, like, that was really the first movie that people went back to and were willing to sell out.

And, like, they didn't have the seat restrictions and all that sort of stuff.

So, you know, the idea of a Spider-Man movie doing $2 billion is not, that's not lunacy, like, by its very nature.

But the idea that starting something new, a new trilogy with Tom Holland, That they could potentially threaten or even top the culmination of No Way Home and how good that was.

That is still something of an achievement and maybe a little bit of a surprise.

But maybe it's in play.

I was just like, I can't wait to see this movie.

That's how I felt after I finished and I saw it again right after that.

Yeah.

My son had already seen it.

He's faster than me now as far as... getting the new trailers and the next news.

And he's telling me, I'm like, yo, that's crazy.

My daughter was the same way.

You know, the second I mentioned that it was coming, she's like, can I see it? She's like, can I see it? I put it on the TV, YouTube, so she could see it on our TV at home, not on the phone.

And then she's like, is that one I can go to the theater to see? I was like, yeah, you can go to the theater to see it.
