Thunderbolts director Jake Schreier is attached to direct the project.

Beef creator and writer Lee Sung Jin has been tapped alongside writer Joanna Callow to tackle a new draft of the script.

The character was previously played by Ben Foster in 2006's X- The Last Stand and Ben Hardy in 2016's X- Apocalypse.

Should a deal happen, the Gen V star will join Samara Weaving, who is playing Emma Frost, Kit Conner as Cyclops, and Sadie Sink, who debuted as Jean Grey in the massively successful Spider-Man Brand New Day.

So...

I have been torn in this category because I did have beef for a little while, but after having watched season two and thinking that the writing was a huge step down from season one, I was leading towards DTF, St. Louis.

Which of the two episodes that were submitted for this category do you think is the stronger episode? It is It Will Stay This Way and You Will Obey.

And then Lee Sung-jin's is Oh, the Comfort, the Inexpressible Comfort.

So that was episode four.

So I think this is where DTF will get another prize undeservedly.

i am going to go with the episode of beef directed by creator lee sung jin oh the comfort of the inexpressible comfort um i just think this is a fantastically directed series um that i think deserves it but um that's all i can say uh i'm sure it's jason bateman just because it's him um and he's won before and um but um yeah i'm gonna go with that

yeah i mean i would love beef to win directing i think it's definitely the best directing and i would choose that episode by series creator lee sungjin but DTSA did so well in nominations and I'm concerned for it in many places.

Writing for the same category, all her fault for episode eight, the beast in me, sick puppy beef, all the things we're never going to have death by lightning and DTF St. Louis.

But let's put that aside.

Chris, who's winning that and why?

Well, just to expand, yeah, because I know no one really cares about this, but I really do hate that there's four nominees.

They do got two years for this movie to come out, but, you know, excited to see that.

and how that develops because you know the x-men aren't a group you gotta you gotta be a group you gotta be a team um now a couple of the casting choices have history behind them so christopher abbott who's playing professor x was actually adam driver's castmate on the hbo series girls so those two have worked together before and indy navarrete who is playing rogue is the least established name on the list um i talked about it earlier but yeah she um broke out on the movie obsession um so excited to see how she transitions into like more bigger films but um but yeah behind the camera you know jake schreier he's directing it and the script comes from two writers out of the prestige television rather than the blockbuster world so uh lee sung jin he created b for netflix and joanna callow is a co-showrunner on the bear um Off the rip, you can kind of tell those aren't really superhero movies, but those are two great shows.

I don't know if you guys watch Beef on Netflix or The Bear on Hulu, but both amazing shows.

So to hear that they're the writers for this script, I'm excited.
