As a surfing show, we talk about surfing, and the one thing that in this country generally we get when it's high pressure, lovely weather, super hot, no waves.

We've discussed this before to give the listeners, you guys, a nuance on where Liam and I live.

Like, what did you say, Liam? End of September, round till April? It's a good six months, isn't it? Yeah.

You get quite a few spells during summer with little bits and pieces of easterlies, easterly wind, this is.

um it is so wonderful being up there surfing waves when it's on and the water's been warmer and so on so forth but then you also deal with crowds so there's you're dealing with some other you know in surfing there is no such thing as a perfect surfing life there's there's either well now you've got to travel or okay now you've got a family or or maybe it's like sharky or there's a bit of a crowd or maybe there's not enough of a crowd because now you're worried about the fact that you're going on your own to a dangerous spot where there might be sharks or I don't know let's keep going on and on and on I don't know if there is such a thing and also I think the other thing as well on that point with the design of the human mind and its negativity bias it will look for a imperfection anyway So it will be lovely.

Oh, isn't this wonderful? And you've moved to this incredible place to go surfing every day in your shorts, surfing better than ever.

You know, once the novelty spikes one off and the dopamine high is simmered back down.

Dopamine seekers, they will then get back on the phone and flick, flick, flick or more coffee or way too much sugar or loads of alcohol because it's a dopamine drive.
