Oh, yeah, I mean, it's one of those things that those guys, obviously amazing surfers and helped raise the bar again, you know, in the same way that Rasta came down early on, guys like Dorian, just paddled out there and just charged it, like, right from the get-go.

Like, Parco's account of him saying, what did he say, like, you know, it looked like everyone's heart rate was through the roof and his was getting lower.

It's just, like, I find that the Hawaiians particularly have got a bit of an affinity with shippies because it's one of those waves that even though it's freezing fucking cold, It's similar in terms of the grunt, you know, and that's why the Hawaiians like Nate Florence or Dorian or Andy, they just kind of get it.

You know, it's that level.

I went on a trip with Cliff Capono recently, and that was the sickest trip ever, and I felt like I learned so much.

We scored some fun ways, but he just had so much knowledge about... you know reading the ocean and reading swells and like reading the the forecasts and stuff and now i'm super into that like i'm just like oh i gotta check it every morning and just like i want to just be able to know like even though i'm not there like i want to be able to know like oh it should get good there like let's see like if that storm does what it's what i'm seeing and like if i'm on par and like all that all that stuff is cool and obviously like nate florence what nate's doing is super sick kind of just like yeah created this whole new path for a surfer i feel like and uh we've been foiling me and nate been foiling a lot together like over the summer which is cool like just being in different environments gets me excited i think that's really cool because i feel like i've just been doing that same thing for so long and show up to the same places and and kind of just get stale like now i'm like entering foil races and just like so outside of my realm that I'm like good.

Kind of like so good.
